Parents & Volunteers

A variety of school volunteer programs provide a means for parents to become involved in the school. The Teacher's Aide Program allows parents to assist teachers in the classroom, library, cafeteria, or on the playground. A tuition benefit is allowed for this service. The Parent-Teacher Club provides physical and financial assistance to enrich the quality of programs offered.

Other Parent News:

IXL is a fun, vibrant math practice environment where students enjoy learning and working toward building master level skills. Our school has a special web page at www.IXL.com/signin/ladyvictory. When you access this website, type the student’s first name initial followed by the last name next to Username. Families with members that have the same first initial will need to add a number 1 or 2 behind the last name. The password for all users is olv. Maxine Hawes is available on campus at 575-0634 for any questions about the sign in. You can access this website from any device with internet capabilities.

With unlimited math problems in over 2,000 skills, all levels of students will benefit from IXL. OLV students from PK-4 through 8th grade are able to sign in. After signing in, click on your grade to select skills to practice. You can place your mouse over any skill to see a sample question. As a student practices a skill, the difficulty level adapts to his or her grasp of the concept to ensure the student is being challenged at the appropriate level. The site also saves all of the student’s results, so parents can monitor their progress anytime by clicking on the Reports tab at the top of the page.

Please check out IXL math. Students in the computer lab are having lots of fun with it!
